Key opponents this won't be as efficient on at least in my case were Cervantes, The apprentice and Algol. I would highly suggest doing this in earlier stages as once you hit stages 5+ as Antarael says the enemies get smarter. Like I said, make sure you hit them in the air with the move and at least land the one on the ground then try and chase if you think you are up to it. I lost in the second round to Setsuka and still managed to get my points high enough by using this move over and over. Even if you lose this technique will work. If you are in a stage with walls try to get them up against the wall so you can simply spam this move netting you points and possibly a perfect. If you are in open space, run up and try to do it again before they get up. You get one launch in the air then one hit on them while they are on the ground which will roll them away. If you get multiple hits while they are on the ground using this technique it counts as a combo. This move launches the opponent in the air netting you 1,000 points every time it hits. ![]() One little tip I have to give is set the (A+B) to the Y button so all you have to press is forward LT instead of having to press forward + X+Y, reducing mess ups. The Ninja Cannon fury, as he said would be Forward (A+B), if you use default controls this would be Forward (X+Y). First off you can't get this achievement if you aren't at least semi-decent with Taki. The method is the same one I used, but there are some key parts he didn't mention. This solution will be building up off of the solution written by Runsen. Using the methods above ive gotten over 450k several times with ease, so they should work for you. He will perform an overhead swing causing a fair amount of damage, and knocking the opponent to the ground. When this connects, release all the buttons and press Y. This is done by holding diagonal down-back and holding X. The 2nd way is to use astaroths cheap combo. This not only can get you easy perfects in the first few matches, but also drains your opponents soul gauge, due to the cpu blocking alot, meaning easy critical finishers (soul crush followed by the left bumper). 2 easy ways i have found to gain this achievement are as follows: Use yun seong and spam his forward Y, Y combo. That comes to a total of 127000 points just from winning every round, meaning you dont get KO'd once. 1000 point for 2 consecutive matches, and additional 2000 for 4, 16000 for 5, 32000 for 6, and 64000 if you dont lose a single round. ![]() You can throw fights if you dont, but if you havent lost a single round, the consecutive win bonus is better the further you go without losing. So 1 perfect and 1 critical is 25000 points. For every perfect you get, you get 15000 points (so 30000 per match for 2 perfects), and 10000 for every critical finish. ![]() Then try to get at least 1 perfect or critcal for every match onwards (the apprentice is a pain, but doable). If you survive the 33 playthroughs and can grind the rest of the achievements out, pat yourself on the back for claiming a hard earned 1000 gamerscore. The best ways i have found to do this is to get consecutive perfects, or 1 perfect and 1 critical finish, preferably 2 perfects, for every round for the first 3 matches. I recommend using "The Tower of Lost Souls" and its many floors to your advantage, this includes floors 11 and 45 - 46. It will be a grind to get quite a few of them. Luckily, or maybe unfortunately, depending on how you look at it, there is only one achievement to be earned here.ģ) Unfortunately, with the exception of the Story difficulty, very few of the remaining achievements will come naturally. Every 5 levels (floors) you earn a treasure chest, every 10 you face a more difficult "boss" fight. Unlike Ascending, you will restart from the first level (floor) if you lose. You will be required to complete 40 levels (floors). In general, you have to win 2 - 3 sets of fights in order to advance to the next set losing will make you start over on that set.ĭescend is a lot tougher. You will also be given challenges that you are not required to meet however, meeting the requirements, will earn you treasure chests that will give you an item (or money if you've already bought said item). This mode has two options, "Ascend" and "Descend." These two modes will test your ability to customize characters and make the most out of their abilities.Īscend requires you to go through 50 levels (floors) and defeat numerous enemies with a character, or characters, of your choice. If you die, you lose all of the points you earned in that fight, so in a sense, you can fight until you get the best score.Ģ) Once you've played through some of the characters' stories, you may want to try "The Tower of Souls" for a little change. ![]() After you've played through "Story Mode," you'll want to play "Arcade Mode." This mode requires you to play through a set of battles while maintaining a high score.
